Jesús Ramírez Tapia is a first-generation Mexican American residing in New York City and Western Massachusetts. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Latinx and Latin American Studies & Political Science at Amherst College, with aspirations of attending law school.
His passion for photography began at the prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School. Much of his work is concentrated on capturing the essence of everyday life and the beauty of urban landscapes.
One of the projects he is currently developing is centered on exploring the intersection of Mexican religion and politics, which he hopes to complete by the end of 2025.
Jesús works with both digital and analog photography, though he prefers the latter as his primary medium of artistic expression.
