
Jesús Ramírez Tapia is a first-generation Mexican American residing in New York City and Western Massachusetts. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Latinx and Latin American Studies & Political Science at Amherst College, with aspirations of attending law school.
His passion for photography began at the prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School. Much of his work is concentrated on capturing the essence of everyday life and the urban landscape.
One of the projects he is currently working on is centered on exploring the intersection of Mexican religion and politics. He hopes to complete it by the end of 2025.
Jesús works with both digital and analog photography, though he prefers the latter as his primary medium of artistic expression.
